🏛️Who We Are
The Central Ethiopia Regional State Forest, Environment Protection & Development Bureau was established in 2023 G.C. as a dedicated institution mandated to legally administer, protect, restore, and develop the region's forest and environmental resources.
We operate under the broader framework of the Central Ethiopia Regional State Planning and Development Bureau — one of the key regional institutions established in accordance with Proclamation No. 199/2015, issued by the Regional Council to define the structure and functions of the region's executive bodies when the Central Ethiopia Regional State was newly constituted. Together, these institutions form the backbone of the region's development architecture — ensuring that growth is not only fast and inclusive, but green, resilient, and sustainable.🌍 What We Do
